Hi, I’m Tammy the Founder of Mellowear 

In 2022, I gave birth to my first child and that’s where I had this thought of recreating a product which many children desperately need. I discussed this idea with friends and they all agreed, we need this. In 2024, I gave birth to my second child and that’s when I knew, Mellowear had to be brought to life. You see, both of my children have long torsos, and they outgrew their standard bodysuits very quickly. Yet, the next size up, was too big; you see & know my dilemma all too well. 

Think of going for a long drive & bub’s bodysuit is restricting them as their nappy has increased- tears! You have your favourite bodysuit ready to go but alas, it’s too tight- frustration! Your little one has a longer torso, and standard bodysuits just don’t fit-annoyance! Thankfully, that’s where Mellowear can ease your pain… and your little ones'. 

Here at Mellowear, the extended gusset design ensures a perfect fit as your baby grows, offering both practicality and longevity. All press studs in the gusset region are 11mm wide and not the traditional 8-9mm; because we know how tricky buttoning a squirming baby can be. All garments are crafted from 95% bamboo, providing a silky-soft gentleness on delicate skin. Did we mention that our baby long sleeves all come with hand coverings? That means less tiny nail marks- phew. Also, our size range is from 0000-2, we've got bub covered from newborn to toddlerhood.
